Ian Dickinson : Bird Photography
Ian Dickinson discovered wildlife photography after retiring 10 years ago. Photographing birds brought him closer to nature and changed the way he saw the natural world. Ian has photographed 320 of the 425 birds ever seen in Canada, most right here in the Quinte area. His presentation ‘Photobirding – how combining Birding and Photography changed my life’, is illustrated with images of birds that are all around us, but most people have never noticed because they don’t know where, when and how to look. Ian will try to get you ‘hooked on birds’ through your telephoto lens.
